Dear Taylor,
I can't believe my sweet little baby is now 1 year old! This past year has been so much fun and has flown by so fast.
You finally decided to start getting teeth one day before your birthday. You have no fewer than 3 teeth currently trying to work their way through your gums at this time. This is presenting for some very disrupted sleep and some very picky eating on your part.
You had a sock monkey birthday party and it was so much fun! All of your friends and family came and you were in such a good mood for the party. You happily played with everyone and waved your way through the party. You loved the cake and ice cream that we gave you. You got so many great presents - a Princess Cozy Coupe car, Bitty Baby doll, Raggedy Ann doll, Busy Ball Popper, My Pal Violet, a toy box, a rocking chair, several dvd's, some clothes, a nice stash of money, and many others! You have enjoyed playing with all of the toys, but the Princess Cozy Coupe car has been a big hit! You happily sit in it while we push you around and wave at everyone and everything we pass. It is so cute!
You still haven't decided to walk on your own yet, but you definitely enjoy holding our hands or a push toy and practicing your walking skills. It won't be long now before you take off on your own.
You are really into music now also. You love to listen to music while you play and dance to it. You will clap your hands and do a little jig that is so cute. You also are starting to do the hand motions to "Noah's Arky Arky". You put your little hands up and wave them when it comes to the verse about "rise and shine and give God the glory glory". It is one of the cutest things I have seen you do!
I hope that our next year is as much fun as this one has been! I can't wait to see what you will learn and accomplish.
